Engaging LinkedIn content is essential to help you to grow, connect, and keep your audience excited for what’s next. In our recent The Pits and Peaches instalment, our Marketing Assistant Teihla shared her top 5 tips to keep content fresh, so let’s take a closer look at them below.
- Mix up your content: Rotate through photos, videos, and graphics (including single images and carousels) to keep your audience engaged. If you don’t mix it up, people become bored and tune out your posts – even if the message is worth reading.
- Use AI in the ideation phase: AI’s a great tool when you’re thinking of post ideas, but you shouldn’t just copy and paste generated content for your captions and designs. Taking the time to refine messaging ensures you can support a consistent tone of voice and add personality – which is essential to help your posts seem genuine and credible. As a result, you’ll stand out from the crowd and increase trust.
- Create shareable content: Tools, tips, checklists, and hacks. These are all forms of content that deliver value for your audience, and are posts they’re more likely to save for later or share with their network. Make sure you’re including them in your content!
- Remember LinkedIn is a networking tool: Don’t forget to interact with other accounts and people, whether you’re tagging them or sharing posts. This helps you to build relationships while improving visibility – so others can discover your LinkedIn page (aka increased traffic).
- Stay up to date with trends: Keep an eye on what other people are posting, recreate relevant content, and share your unique insights where possible. The latter supports you to build credibility and share your expertise.
